    "Save It For Me" is a real vocal pop song, however, unlike "Telstar." And it's quite a good one, with one of the Bob Gaudio-Bob Crewe songwriting team's strongest and most good-natured, yet slightly melancholy, pop-rock melodies. The Four Seasons are spot-on when they rejoin Frankie Valli's lead vocal with constant urges to "save it for me.".
